8/14/2024: On today’s episode, Valerie covers the intriguing story of philandering sculptor, Henri Marchand, who had a habit of charming young native women into his studio, out of their clothes, and into his bed, claiming “professional necessity”. She recounts the salacious details that came out after the murder of his artist wife Clothilde, including witchcraft, Ouija boards, and mysterious letters from Cleveland, and how the trials did little more than shed light on his narcissism, master manipulation, and coercion to murder? Amy Jo’s Zodiac Back presents all things Pluto, starting with a quick run-down of Pluto facts. Next she tells the story of the search for the elusive Planet X, which made itself known by perturbing other bodies in the night sky. It includes a delightful Kansas connection, resulting in Pluto’s discovery as the 9th planet (Yay!), it’s demotion to a dwarf planet (Boo!), and how it was caused by astronomers defining what a planet even is! She rounds out the ZB with info on the Mars conjunct Jupiter in Gemini which is happening today!

This incriminating letter, supposedly written by Lila Jimerson to Nancy Bowen, was likely a forgery.
Lila Jimerson pled guilty from her hospital beds and then recanted.
