Valerie and Amy Jo met freshman year of high school and bonded over their love of The Beatles, Stephen King, and many things witchy, their dislike of Precious Moments, and celebrated the joy of singing incorrect song lyrics as much as possible.

Valerie obtained her degree in Art History and has hardly used it since, but she enjoyed the hell out of the classes!!! A voracious reader, she discovered true crime and Linda Goodman's Sun Signs around the age of 11, and she's been hooked ever since. She loves to create, be it painting, photography, sewing, writing, or graphic design. Her favorite pastime? Good wine (or whiskey), good company, laughter, storytelling, and deep conversations. Doing so under the stars and in front of a campfire = perfection!

Amy Jo McCarville: Virgo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius Rising

Amy Jo is a musician and theatre artist. She has a BA in Theatre and a certificate from Clown School (aka Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre), which served her surprisingly well over 20 years as a bureaucrat in arts administration. She has played in several bands including The Roundups, Keep Your Fork, There's Pie, and The Big Ol' Hearts. Learning she is a Virgo Sun Sign and not a Leo (cusp baby!) during her first astrology reading in 2004, was a transformative experience, unlocking a life-long passion she loves sharing with friends.

The desire to collaborate on a project together led the friends to create You Ain't a'Woofin. And the rest as they say, is History, Crime, Mystery, and Astrology.
