7/10/2024: On today’s very special Bicentennial episode, Valerie’s 1976 Timeline Twist presents the innumerable United States Bicentennial activities, including cameos by Johnny Cash, President and Mrs. Ford, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip, lots of ships, tons of commemorative trinkets, and a whole lotta red, white, and blue. We discuss an extremely tone-deaf sun tan lotion ad and a learn a couple new words in the first timeline twist during our lifetimes! Next, Amy Jo covers a thrillingly(?) terrifying story about the easily bored Flintville Monster and how he terrorized the small community of Flintville, Tennessee, with his size, appearance, smell (is that just really good weed?), and his rage for cars and their antennas. Lastly, Amy Jo touches on the origins of the Bigfoot legend, other mysteries of Flintville (is that Crispin Glover looking for his missing arm?), and the FBI investigation and findings regarding Bigfeet.
